Dude, you should have seen it, I was all hangin off the bike and stuff, had my knee out, the cylinder heads draggin and sparkin, I must of had the bike like, FIFTEEN degrees off the vertical, man! That had to have been like 10 miles an hour.
Another note, it would seem that the motor is rigid in relation to the frame, not the wheel, so in the event of suspension loading in a turn, you will have even less ground clearance.

Wouldn't the CVT bit count as a swingarm to compensate for such?

hit the 2:20 mark, he bounces the bike, and you can see the engine assembly jumping up and down with the suspension.

I love it.
Sure, it's not practical, not really safe, no better than any established solution, and he's riding around without a helmet or pants...
But, here's someone who thought "I bet I could build something interesting", and then went and built it. Kudos friend, enjoy your silly bike.

I give anyone credit for coming up with something new. I have no idea if this is a bad idea or not, but it's different. Well played.
